[Expressions]

 

1. not much of a ~ : 그다지 ~한 사람이 아니다. 그다지 ~ 하는 거 안 좋아해.

  - I'm not much of a chef.

  - He's not much of a driver.

  - I'm not much of a talker.

  - I'm not much of a drinker. : 나는 그렇게 술을 잘 마시는 타입은 아니야. 나는 그렇게 술을 좋아하지 않아.

    (+ I have really low tolerance of alcohol.)

 

[Vocabulary]

    my annual checkup (정기 건강검진)

 

2. Bill은 전체 요금, fee는 세부 항목이나 추가로 붙는 요금의 느낌

    Ex) imaging fee on my bill

4. Buddhist : 불교의, 불교도 (국적/사람이 동일한 form인 것과 마찬가지라고 생각하면 됨)

[Grammar]

 

1. linking verb: 연결 동사(be, become처럼 주어와 주격 보어를 이어주는 동사)
   -> In ‘She became angry’, the verb ‘became’ is a linking verb.

2. You pay not much money for your... -> You don't pay much money for your...(O)

   -> 부정은 가능한 한 앞으로 보낸다.
